Michelin 2010: 14 stars for 13 restaurants in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg!

In its 2010 edition, the famous "Michelin guide" crowns 13 of Luxembourg’s gourmet restaurants with a total of 14 stars.
For the first time, the three following new restaurants were starred by Michelin in 2010:
1. Restaurant „Ma Langue Sourit“ run by chef Cyril
Molard, located in the village of Moutfort, halfway between the city
of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Wine Road
2. Restaurant „Le Sud“ run by chef Christophe Petra, located in the Old Town of Luxembourg, in the former brewery district "Clausen".
3. Restaurant „Influence des saveurs“ run by Fabrice Salvador and Arnaud Garnier. This restaurant is located in
Luxembourg's second city, Esch-sur-Alzette.
Restaurant ‘Mosconi’ (chef: Ilario Mosconi) located in the "Grund" (UNESCO
‘World Heritage Site’), in the heart of the Old Town of Luxembourg City, is the
only Italian restaurant outside Italy to have two Michelin stars.
The other restaurants to have a Michelin star in the 2010 edition are:
"Toit pour toi" in Schouweiler,
"Manoir de Kasselslay" in Roder (near Clervaux),
"Lea Linster" (winner of the "Golden Bocuse Culinary Award" in 1989) in Frisange,
‘Clairefontaine’ (Arnaud Magnier) and ‘Le Bouquet Garni’ (Thierry Duhr) in Luxembourg,
"Le Patin d'Or" in Kockelscheuer,
"La Gaichel" in Gaichel (near Eischen),
‘Les Roses’ (Alain Pierron) at the Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains,
as well as ‘Favaro’ (Renato Favaro) in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg’s second city located at a mere 20 minutes drive from the capital.
The following restaurants are awarded by Michelin with a ‘Bib gourmand’ in 2010 (good quality/price ratio): "Parmentier" in Junglinster, "Caves Gourmandes" in Luxemburg-city, "Brasserie Côté Cour" in Bourglinster, the "Parc Le'h" in Dudelange, the "Kamakura" in Luxembourg-Grund and the "Du Vieux Château" in Wiltz.
