Le Place d’Armes

A charming 28-room design hotel was opened in May 2010 in the heart of Luxembourg City. The hotel is an architectural ensemble composed by 7 buildings, the oldest of which dates back to the 18th century and housed a former printing house. Behind the facade, the visitor discovers cozy courtyards and terraces.

The chef Alain Straub, who worked in renowned restaurants before, such as Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg, the Juana in Juan-les-Pins or at the formerly starred L’Agath of chef Franky Steichen (who retired in 2009), pampers his guests in two restaurants:

-          the elegant “La Cristallerie” (for a maximum 40 guests) on the 1st floor and

-          the fancy Brasserie Plëss with its outdoor terrace

The voulted cellars can be used for smaller functions. Soon a wellness centre with hair-dresser and boutique will be added to the hotels’ infrastructure. The hotel also offers several packages for a romantic week-end in Luxembourg City.
